We investigate nanomaterials synthesized by sol-gel and molecular sieves routes. We develop silica nanomaterials, hybrid organic-inorganic gels, titania-silica nanocomposites. We use surfactants as structure direct agents (SDA). Our materials present consolidant, hydrophobic, self-cleaning properties. In addition, they are crack-free, homogeneous and transparent products with application on stones, glass and other materials.
